Our girl was not the only lucky one to receive a Felix top. I also sewed a Felix top for myself and I love this new pattern from Sofilantjes*. I basically love everything about it: the flowyness, the asymmetrical top and hem, the fact that the band covers your bra band.

You can finish the Felix top, tunic and dress in two different ways. For our girl I used the lining to finish the hem. For myself I used a rolled hem to finish the hem. Again, just like with this romper, I put the differential higher so that it does not curl up as much. I used regular sewing thread so the rolled hem doesn’t stand out as much.

Just like with the girls Felix pattern there is a lining underneath the top. For the women’s Felix it is just a top with elastic at the bottom. I am a big fan of the top and already wore it several times. Get it while the discount is still valid.
