Fun asymmetrical tunic

Our girls love Sofilantjes patterns and I love asymmetrical designs so the new pattern from Sofilantjes* is a hit! It is the perfect summer pattern for those hot days! Even more with the extended size range up to 18 years.

The Felix top, tunic and dress has three different lengths and a fun asymmetrical design. Another fun and useful part is the lining. It is a rather flowy garment so the lining is designed to cover your girl even when she is hanging upside down.
Our girl really loves the print of this fabric and it reminds her of spilling something on her clothing. Every time she wore the tunic the last weeks she keeps on commenting on that it looks like she spilled something, which she thinks is very funny. I think it is indeed very useful, not having to remove difficult stains out of their clothing.

I sewed the tunic length, which is just a bit longer than the top. Since it is also available for Women you can do some twinning with your girl. I will show you my Felix tomorrow.

I love the asymmetrical top part as well as the asymmetrical bottom part. It is difficult to hem such a asymmetrical design, therefore it has a lining at the bottom.
