Regina is a great dress (and tunic) pattern with lots of options. So far I have sewed four different Regina dresses from Sofilantjes*. I love that it works well as a winter dress with French Terry (like this Christmas Regina dress), as well as with knit fabric (like this Regina dress). Yet, no short sleeved Regina for me yet. Here is a fifth Regina with short sleeves and a new free add-on for the Regina: ruffles!

The fabric of the skirt of this dress is special: it is UV fabric, which means the fabric changes colour when UV light shines on it. Our girls are a big fan of this fabric. So our girl loves this dress and especially loves to show everybody that it changes colour. Below you see the difference outside (with colour) and inside (white).

These ruffles are a free add-on to the Regina dress, which means you can find it in your account if you already own the Regina. Otherwise, you will get it when you buy the Regina.
