A new top (and tunic or dress) pattern from Sofilantjes*: the Magistra top, tunic and dress. It is the perfect top for work or for a day out with a beautiful neckline. As always the pattern includes different options.
There are long hemmed sleeves, cuffed sleeves (with beautiful pleats) and short sleeves. I sewed up the cuffed sleeves, for both the brown and purple top. Additionally, you can sew at short top, long top, tunic or dress length. My tops are both the long top length. The dress includes a tie around the waist. You need a bit more sturdy fabric like French Terry. The purple one I sewed in French Terry, the brown one is a Punta jersey. It is a rather quick sew and of course the eye catcher is the beautiful neckline.
Fabric: the purple is a brushed French Terry from Nooteboom Textiles, the retro fabric is Punta jersey from Driessenstoffen
