Paprika Patterns* is another favourite designer of mine. The Jasper dress is still one of my most worn dresses during fall and winter. When I saw a call for the new Coral sweater & dress I wanted to sew one. I mean colour blocking yes!

A few weeks ago I went to Nooteboom Textiles and they had the most soft and beautiful sweat fleece/alpenfleece fabric. I decided to buy three bolts. Here you see the three colors combined. This alpenfleece is just so soft and stretchy, perfect for winter sewing. Our girls love these touchy and soft fabrics so some dresses and hoodies will follow for them as well.

The wavy colour block lines of the Coral dress make it look nice and it wears great. Also the pockets on the front are sewed in such a nice way that you can hardly see them. I opted for the cowl option to make it even more comfortable. You can also sew a neckband but for me during winter the neckline would be too open and too cold. I was in between sizes and choose the smaller size and I am happy with the fit. Maybe I will also sew a sweater next.
