Flying dress

I love different types of dresses and our middle girl is the perfect girl to try something out. She is not as specific as our eldest. But of course I never know for sure if she is going the like it. The new Kids Maeve Cocoon dress from Petite Stitchery* is a big hit.

She loves the batwing sleeves and says it is her flying dress. There are different lengths included in the pattern. Since our girls prefer dresses over tops I chose the midi length. There is also a mini length and top length included. It is just the quickest sew. And surprisingly my husband loves it as well. The skirt does move up a bit during the day but I think it is a very fashionable and still very comfortable dress.
