Every time I sew something with a flounce for one of our daughters, our eldest asks for one for herself. So I knew this top would be a hit with her. It is the Ylva’s dream dress (and top) from Made by Runi. Indeed she is over the moon with the top, although she does have to get used to the arm without any fabric. This week the pattern is discounted (discount is applied to your chart).
Of course I used another rolled hem to add even more detail to the flounce, again with my overlocker thread. My husband isn’t really convinced by the flounce, I think he finds it a bit too much. Luckily our daughter stays true to her own love for certain garments. It will be a perfect top for a hot summer!
