Every time I see a new pattern by Candy Castle Patterns* I want to sew it up. They always have lots of options and something for everybody, indeed for each kid there is something they will like. I saw the high low tunic in the Box of Chocolates pattern and instantly fell in love. I showed it to our eldest, however she was not convinced. Sometimes I just sew it up and if she doesn’t like it there are always two more girls who will wear it in time. This time I let her choose and she chose the option with the circle skirt dress in the box of chocolates pattern.

Our girl loves high and low dresses, high low skirts or high low tunics, however she discovered that the high and low tunics are not so much her favourite. She prefers dresses (this high low dress is still her favourite at the moment) over tunics because she does not want to wear leggings or pants with the tunic. Of course a circle skirt twirls better and that is what our girl wants to do.
