Geometric Doris skirt

The Doris Women skirt from Misusu Patters has been on my sewing list since it has been released. I love the geometric line on the side of the skirt and the V-shaped waistband. I already made two for both our girls, one during release of the kids doris skirt and one during an inspirational tour of the doris skirt and the piper tank. Time to make one for myself.

I love Misusu patterns, I love the geometric lines in the patterns and the instructions are very clear. Here is an overview of the Misusu patterns that I have sewed so far. Hopefully you get just as inspired by her patterns as I am.

There are three different lengths in this pattern. I chose the knee length (short, knee and midi length are included). I was in between sizes and chose the bigger size. I didn’t want the skirt to be too tight and I love how it turned out. Although it is not as colorful as most of my makes, I love the print on the front. Now I just need to make something to go with the skirt. I don’t have anything that fits with the skirt nicely. Love to hear your ideas! What should I make?
