Wildflower dress

Another summer dress for our eldest in which she feels like a princess. She loves the two tiered skirt of the dress. I almost made her a maxi dress (which is also included in the pattern), but I did not have enough of the waves fabric for that. She says the tiered skirt makes her feel like a princess, so apparently not only twirly dresses are good enough for her. The kids wildflower from Stitch upon a time is a huge hit and she puts it on every time it is clean and comes out of the laundry. Of course with several layers as it is not warm enough yet to wear it by itself.

I like the criss cross back of the dress. You can also choose to leave the straps uncrossed (a different pattern piece). Although our girl loves the tiered skirt, there is also a half circle skirt included. Besides the dress length you can also make a crop top, bra, swim top or tank top with it. So a very versatile pattern for the upcoming summer!
