I sewed the Diamondback Cami & Crop from Designs by Call by Ajaire from this issue. It is a pattern that works great for tops in the summer as well as sport tops or for a swim top.
I really like the cutout from the back of the top. There is the Diamondback Cami & Crop as well as the Diamondback Legging that both include a diamond cutout. Such a great pair for sport activities. There is also a shelf bra included so that works great if you want to make it into a swim top. I might try that later on, to sew a swim top out of this pattern. It can easily be paired with the free Classic Maillot swimskirt from Designs by Call by Ajaire that includes a bikini bottom and swim skirt. With the extensive size range from NB – 16Y, you can use it for a long time.
One essential thing you need for this pattern is fold over elastic. The top works great for layering as well. So our girl can already wear it now while it is still cold outside.
