Summer top: Artemis

Although it is freezing cold when I am writing this post I did sew up my first summer top. Summer tops are great during summer but also work great during winter for layering. So she can already wear her summer top now. I used the Artemis top from Stitch upon a time*.

The Artemis top and dress is the girls’ pattern of the Spoxxy top and dress, which is a favorite of mine. I already sewed up a couple during my maternity (there is a maternity option included). After that I have adapted them (very easily by taking out the rushing and shortening the top) and I still wear them a lot during summer.

The Artemis is a pattern for a top or a dress. I love the gathered back in my own top to give room for movement. The dress can be made with one, two or three skirts. I know what our girls would want.

Fabric: fabric from the exchange pile during one of our sewing weekends.
Pattern: Artemis top from Stitch upon a time
Sizing: NB – 12
Options: top or dress (with one, two or three skirts)
