The Adult Navarro by Stitch Upon A Time* is a very versatile pattern and maybe you didn’t recognize all the Navarros that I sewed. I sewed two for our girl and since it is also available for women I sewed one for myself this time. The pattern includes a dress (like I sewed for our eldest), different lengths (like this crop length top I sewed for our eldest) and even a separate skirt!
I bought this Zonen09 fabric a couple of years ago during our sewing weekend. And it was the perfect match with this pattern. The fabric has a nice structure to it and makes it nice for this basic sweater that I sewed with it. For the neckband and the cuffs I used the fabric with the wrong side out. Originally I was planning on adding a waistband, as according to the pattern. But after finishing the rest I decided to skip the waistband and just hem the bottom. I am a bit shorter than the pattern is designed for so I would have to shorten the bodice before adding the waistband anyways.
Since I still have some things that I sewed in 2020 and want to show, I keep track of both 2020 and 2021 of my fabric stash. I am going to try to post all my 2020 makes this month:
# Fabric this week: 0 in – 1 out (Total fabric in 2020: bought 113 new fabric – used 174 fabric – 49 scrap pieces – 15 gifted fabric) – in total in 2020 113 in 174 out
# Patterns in 2020: 15 in – 19 out
