Mouse softie – One Thimble

I love sewing soft toys, or softies, and I already made quite a few. Although not all of them made it to the blog yet. I definitely need to make time to post them. For One Thimble issue 27*, I got to sew the Mice and Meese softies designed by The Crafting Fiend.

I picked out the mouse softie, as I had some leftover grey fabric in my stash. Of course I could have used a different colour as well. As you can tell our youngest loves her new softie and has been carrying her mouse all around the house and even when she goes to sleep. For the bodice I used an old felt pillow. I love upcycling and this was the perfect project with all the small pieces. Although the sturdy fabric was different to turn when sewing the arms and legs.

One Thimble is a digital sewing magazine, which includes 6 new sewing patterns, 3 pattern hacks for previous One Thimble patterns and articles. The early bird discount is now available. Eventually, you can also buy the patterns separately.
