After these slippers I sewed another pair of slippers. You can never have too many slippers. I used the sleepy time slippers from Petite Stitchery*, which is a free pattern for these lounge type of slippers.
You can wear these slippers up (see below) or fold the top, where the inside of the slippers is shown. Besides that you can add drawstrings, you can add elastic to the heel and there is the open of open slippers, where you leave the sides open and close them with a button. There is a regular and a slimmer fit. I sewed the slim (ankle) option and added elastic to the heel. These slippers are a quick sew and again are great Christmas gifts. The pattern includes sizes NB all up to XXL.
For the outside I used a fabric that looks like jersey with a soft inside without any stretch. It was a leftover from this tunic. For the inside I used a leftover wellness fleece. For the bottom I used anti slip fabric from Actiefstoffen just like with these slippers.
Fabric: green non stretch fabric, wellness fleece and anti slip fabric from Actiefstoffen
Pattern: Sleepy time slippers from Petite Stitchery
Sizing: NB – XXL
Options: ties, elastic heel and open sides.
