Our girls love the Dia sweater and tunic from Misusu. Our youngest was wearing her dia tunic which our eldest loves so she requested a dia just like her little sister. I put it on my sewing list and just after that the shuffle tester call from Misusu was put online so I jumped on that.
Yesterday you got a glance of the shuffle collars that I sewed during that testing process (with the Flex raglan and the Switch Crew sweater). The shuffle hoods and collars can also be added to the Dia sweater and tunic. So I sewed the Dia tunic for our eldest with a shuffle collar.
I bought a piece of sequin fabric a while ago and I thought the diamond of the Dia would be perfect to give it a try. It was a huge hit! Then our middle daughter saw the sequin Dia of her sister and requested also one. So I sewed another dia tunic, this time for our middle daughter. So I am showing you the two dia tunics with shuffle cross over collar.
The Dia tunic with the cross over collar for our middle daughter is sewed with the final pattern pieces. The rib knit band is one of the options that you can add to the hoods and collars of the add on pack. I love that pop of colour. I used the tunic length and sized up one extra size. I used the high low bottom band and the regular sleeves.
The cross over collar that I used for our eldest is the first version that I sewed during testing. The collar got adapted during the testing process and got a more snug fit. Also for our eldest did I add a rib band knit. Additionally, I used the two pieces lining on the inside of the cross over collar. On the pictures it is hardly noticable.
I already showed you yesterday the flex raglan dress that I sewed for our youngest. I used the cowl option and did not use the rib knit option. Other options in the shuffle hoods and collars add on pack are the high funnel neck, midi rib turtle neck and 3 different hood options.
