I loved the pockets when I saw the snuggly tunic from Made by Runi for the first time. And that is also what our daughter loves about the tunic, the pockets. The pockets make that you want to put your hands in them and snuggle up on the couch.
The snuggly tunic is made for thicker fabrics such as french terry. The tunic is thus perfect for fall and winter sewing. It also has a looser fit, so I think it would also be possible with even thicker fabrics.
It has a high low bottom, which our girl is always a fan of. Our girl prefers long dresses, as you might recall, nevertheless tunics have the advantage that she can wear them to after school care with either pants or leggings underneath. They are more practical when you want to climb into a tree.
The eyecather of the pattern are the pockets for sure. They consist of two overlaying pieces of fabric and are big enough to put lots of things in there. I especially love that you can combine different fabrics and make the pockets stand out. Of course you can choose to leave off the pockets.
The pattern is discounted for the release until 12.00 noon monday 19/10 CEST.
