The jacket is already one of my favourites at the moment, especially with the nice and warm fabric, it feels so cozy. I love the collar of the jacket and the welt pocket. I love welt pockets, the only hurdle is sewing them. I must admit the instructions in this Fibre Mood were not my cup of tea. Some instructions are a better fit with me than others. Luckily, there is always youtube and after watching some movies welt pockets are actually not that difficult. I am happy with the result in the end.

If you are thinking about making the Frida Jacket there are a couple of things you should keep in mind when sewing the Frida. First of all, a couple of others already mentioned it before I started, the Frida is a short model. I am 162 (5’3) and I did not change anything to the length, however if you are a bit taller, I would definitely lengthen it. The same goes for the sleeves I would lengthen them for a next version.
Additionally, I added 6 cm to the waist band because I don’t like it when garments are too snug around my waist. Depending on your preference add to the waistband.
