Most pattern names by Made by Runi are awesome! Have a look at the Dance like a mermaid! It is the pattern of the week this week, which means you can buy it with a discount!

Our girls are both in dance class and use ballet dresses every single week. Our middle daughter was still wearing the first ballet dress that I made and could use a new one. So I sewed up the Dance like a mermaid. I was inspired by the pattern name and used the mermaid fabric that I used for this mermaid dress.

In the pattern you can choose yourself how to finish off the neck and bottom. I choose to add a neck band to the neck, I find that the nicest finishing. For the bottom I added 1 cm of seam allowance and sewed in the 0,5 cm elastic. After that I folded the elastic inwards and sewed it again with a cross stitch.

A couple of the other fabulous pattern names I have sewn from Made by Runi:
* Feeling Fabulous Skirt
* Fairy princess dress
* Fairytale hoodie
* summer dream
Fabric: the mermaid fabric was a leftover from this dress and the pink fabric comes from de Stoffenstraat
