Mittens for the whole family

This weekend I sewed mittens for all our girls (remember the mitts I sewed for our little one?)! Mittens are just the perfect gift during the winter season. They are quick sews, it took me an hour to sew one pair (and I even added a colour block to these mittens), and they are great scrap busters.

The Mitten Sewing Pattern* by Mamma Can Do It costs only $5 and it includes all sizes for the whole family! This Friday there is even a Festive Friday Flash sale: the code FESTIVEFLASH4 gives you 35% off the mittens. I made unlined mittens because I used double faced fleece, but the pattern also include instructions on how to make them lined.

The red mittens are size XS and fit our middle daughter who is 3 years old. The purple mittens are size S for our eldest who is 5 years old. Our middle daughter wasn’t in the mood for pictures, so no pictures of her this time. She does love the mittens! Because I love colour blocking, as you all know by now, I added a colour block. I love how they turned out.
